Hello! Thank you for taking time to read about our mission. We are a group of leaders from community based Internal Medicine Residency Programs with over 10 years experience working with PGY-3 chief residents. According to the 2023 APDIM survey, 36.5%” of IM programs now employ PGY-3 chief residents.

For the past 2 years, we have led a workshop at APDIM on leadership targeted at PGY-3 Chief Residents. In our experience, PGY-3 Chief Residents are lacking in opportunities for collaboration and targeted curriculum towards their unique experiences of being a chief during residency training.

If you would like to become involved, please register your program with our database. Once registration is closed, we will share with you a list of other programs who also utilize PGY-3 chief residents. We hope to stimulate a dialogue among programs with PGY-3 chiefs and collaborate on future curriculum development.
